The anchorage
The corniche seen from underneath — pines on the cliff, deep water at the foot of it.
The anchorage
Èze-sur-Mer & Cap Estel
Everyone knows Èze as the village on the rock. From the water you get the other half of it: the cliffs the corniche is cut into, pines and agave hanging off them, and the small green promontory of Cap Estel below.
The water comes deep right up to the shore here, so it is a swim stop rather than a beach day — engines off in ten metres, twenty feet from the rock, with nothing above you but the road you would otherwise have been sitting in.
The captain reads the morning and picks the side of the bay the wind is not on. If it is not right on the day, we go somewhere that is.

Always included
Passage times are the quickest boat in the fleet on a flat morning. Your captain will tell you honestly what the sea is doing before you commit to a long run.

the bays either side
Tell us the day you are picturing and the crew will shape the route around it — this bay, the ones either side of it, lunch wherever the morning says it should be, and the run home timed for the light rather than the clock.
