The anchorage
The wild end of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, where the sand gives out and the rock begins.
The anchorage
Cap Camarat & l’Escalet
Past Pampelonne the peninsula stops being a beach and turns into granite: boulders, small rocky inlets, maquis and pines, and pockets of sand between them that you can only really get to from the water. The lighthouse on Cap Camarat marks the turn.
L’Escalet and the coves either side of it are the quiet half of a Saint-Tropez day — the part guests are surprised exists twenty minutes from the busiest harbour on the coast.
The captain reads the morning and picks the side of the bay the wind is not on. If it is not right on the day, we go somewhere that is.

the bays either side
Tell us the day you are picturing and the crew will shape the route around it — this bay, the ones either side of it, lunch wherever the morning says it should be, and the run home timed for the light rather than the clock.
