A day boat anchored alone in a turquoise cove.

The classic

A full day, coast to cove

Out at ten while the water is still glass. A cove before the crowds find it, lunch somewhere you can only arrive at by sea, and the run home with the light going gold.

Out at ten while the water is still glass, and by half past you are somewhere the road cannot reach — a cove the colour of a swimming pool with nobody else in it. The morning is swimming and slow coffee on the aft deck; the water is warmest where the rocks hold the sun, and the captain knows exactly which cove is calm for the day’s wind.

Lunch is a table held ashore somewhere you can only arrive at by sea, or laid on the teak if nobody wants to move. The afternoon drifts between the seabobs, the paddleboards and absolutely nothing at all, and then comes the best part: the run home along the coast with the light going gold across the hills, everyone wrapped in towels, nobody in any hurry.

Every day here is shaped around the people aboard — the route, the lunch and the pace are the crew's to arrange once you tell us what you are dreaming of.
